Now, that I don't have to have certain shots, I have had fun taking photos. Grab the camera & tripod, plug in the cable release & shoot!
I was pleasantly surprised that some of my Irises out by the farm field made it after several hard freezes during the month of April. It was pretty windy the day I took this photo. It was fun to wait for the wind to quit gusting!
I planted about 60 Dutch Iris bulbs last fall in the front landscaping area. I didn't realize they would be this tall, but they are so pretty. Since they are the only things blooming at this time, I'm enjoying them. Most of the are the dark blue/purple. But there are a few white ones, which opened up today. The yellow ones may be opened by tomorrow. I can't wait to see them.
We had 1.6" of rain yesterday evening & overnight. I loved the drops on the flowers.
