The Lord was faithful with our weather, or should I say lighting. It was a pretty cloudy morning to start, then the sun came out very strong mid-morning. But by the time we were to start, it had become hazy. For a photographer, mid-day sun is very harsh, but with the bright hazy sky, it was perfect. Most of the time it was a soft, even type of light.
We went to the Fort Benjamin Harrison area near the park entrance. There is a cool bridge (in this photo) over a slow moving creek. There is a path, wooden foot bridge & a pretty gazebo for wonderful back drops, too.
It's a good thing that this area is quiet, even for a Monday, because I sat down in the street to get this shot. I didn't sit in the middle of the road, but I really wanted to!
Thanks Kiernan for letting me take your picture!
Fun fact: one MUST pay attention to details. In this photo, at the bottom left hand corner, where the watermark is, that car is MY car parked across the street. Click & learn!
