Dear friends invited us to stay with them. It was like old times, except all their kids had grown up & have kids of their own!
The guys golfed a couple of times, while the ladies spent those days on the beach. We tried eating our lunch on the beach & one of the Laughing gulls hit me on the head! That hurt a little bit! The next time, we went up to the pavilion, ate our lunch & talked.
In fact, the whole we was full of talking, playing games, a little shopping (only one evening, the guys suffered only a little) - sweet fellowship.
I so enjoyed using my new camera a couple of times. I still need to dive into the book about it, but it's also fun to just "play" with it & see what happens.
All in all, it was a good break from all the stressful time at home - I didn't have to be around what needed to be done.
Mason, the kitty, had a good time at the Kitty Resort & Spa. I think he's forgiven me for leaving him all those days. He is really happy here. I hate to say it, but even happier here than in Mom's apartment. He has a lot of room, a lot of windows, & a lot of places to sleep. He hasn't been naughty very much at all.
The Lord blessed our travels home. The ice & sleet predicted didn't happen in Tennessee. But you could see the tree limbs were frosty. Praise Jesus, the roads weren't!
It was nice to finally get home. Our new little car did great on the gas mileage & really was pretty comfortable for us.
Thanks for reading my blog & seeing my "sample" photos. Once I get my photos completed, you can view them on SmugMug.
