Many know that my Mother passed away a couple of months ago. I had stayed with her for a couple of months & then another month to close her apartment & start the closing of her earthly business affairs. She's in Bliss (Heaven with her Jesus & all our family & friends that have gone on before her) & she leaves me to "clean up." Our family has an odd sense of humor! It really does help to know she put her hope & trust in Jesus. It's still not easy, but there is hope, rest, & comfort in Jesus. I can trust He'll get me through.
He keeps things lively! He is a morning cat, an early morning cat! After a few weeks, he has learned that Chuck is the one that feeds him in the morning. He finally started to bother Chuck instead of me!
He has adjusted so well to our house. He now owns a whole house. Of course, it all belongs to him! He handles the stairs to the basement very well. In fact, get out of the way when he decides he wants to run up or down them when you are on them! He has three windows he loves to sit in. He loves watching the birds & little creatures.
I finally started a Facebook page just for Mason's antics! He has a small following, too!
We enjoyed the island. We didn't have to watch for cars when crossing the road. The only dangerous vehicles/drivers were the bicyclists! I'm glad I thought of this: I had fun trying to "capture" all the alternate forms of what we consider common place. Like the Harley Davidson 'Cycle pictured here!
I want to go back.
Eventually, I will get to editing the rest of my photos AFTER I edit a wedding & a senior photo shoot!
Another blessing, I have had to set aside my photography classes over the past year. After contacting my school, the New York Institute of Photography, I will be able to extend my course for another year. I do want to get my certificate.
Another blessing was that they didn't mind if I tried out my new camera. I did take my old one as a back up if the new one was too much to learn.
We had a lot of fun. I had a lot of fun trying out the new camera. I was very pleased with the results.
I am thankful to have gotten out of the house, enjoyed this young lady & her mother's fellowship in the nice out-of-doors (though a bit cool) taking pictures!
